• Zinc Oxide is insoluble in water, solvents and neutral oils, but is soluble in both strong acids and alkalis.
• Zinc oxide has chemical properties which impede the growth of fungi, mildew and mold.
Zinc Oxide grades are primarily differentiated by purity levels and surface area. The grades listed below can be propionic acid treated for aided dispersion and can be granulated for reduced dusting and improved flow characteristics.
